The prep agenda

Decide what moves this week.

  1. Start with the story

    Get to one stable script and agree on the film we are making.

  2. Lock the production plan

    Make sure the script, schedule, locations, base camp, and hardest days support each other.

  3. Build the team

    Move casting and department leads forward. Get new people onboarded, into Slack, and clear on who they report to.

  4. Get ready to shoot

    Focus each department on what must be found, built, tested, booked, or made safe first.

  5. Know what we can afford

    Work from confirmed money and support. Keep insurance, agreements, payments, and in-kind help clear.

  6. Leave with owners

    End with the decisions made, one owner for every next step, and a date to report back.
